The party season is upon us – What I’ll be wearing this Christmas

December is almost upon us, and we all know what that means – it’s party season! This year, I decided to plan ahead and get all my outfits sorted early so there would be no last minute stress.

So if you’re stuck and you’re looking for a little outfit inspiration, keep reading!

I have an early start next week with a family birthday. I wanted something cute that could then double up for work once the month of January comes around. I found the Si Knot Front Fit & Flare Angel Sleeve Dress (£18.00) from Boohoo. The cut is super flattering, and I love the look of the power shoulders (or maybe I’ve just been watching Stranger Things and the The Goldbergs too much at this point). I think I’ll also be wearing this one on Boxing day.

I also picked up the gorgeous Mia Velvet Long Sleeve Wrap Bodycon Dress (£20.00). You know that feeling you get when you try a dress on and it just fits? Yeah, that. I’ve been wanting a dress like this since a hen do I went on last year, and Boohoo delivered. Plus, they had a 30% off event on dresses when I got this, so it was a total bargain! I’m thinking Christmas eve for the one.

The biggest event this December will be the work do. Our Christmas party is the event of the year, and they will be planning the next one as soon as we get back to the office.

I went for the Tabia Dress (£99.00) from Coast. I can’t get over how much I love it. It’s just the right amount of sophistication and it fits just like a glove.

Now, the plan was to have my shoes for this post. Unfortunately, the pair I ordered didn’t fit, and of course when I chose a new pair, they were not in stock in store. So I am currently waiting for this cute pair (£29.99) from New Look’s wide fit range to be delivered this week. I like how simple they are, with that little bit of tackiness that will work great for the holidays, and will match all the of these dresses. Now to pick out some earrings to match!

For make-up, I am loving my new I Heart Makeup Mint Chocolate palette (£8.99). It’s the first I’ve bought from their range, and I’ll be going back for more. It has a great mix of mattes and shimmers, and you can get such a versatile range of looks with the colours. Check out my Instagram for a couple of looks I created, or even my review of it if you fancy.
